Hanabi Card Game

Hanabi—named for the Japanese word for "fireworks"—is a cooperative game in which players try to create the perfect fireworks show by placing the cards on the table in the right order. In Japanese, hanabi is written as 花火; these are the ideograms flower and fire, respectively.

Please note this is a fan design, purely made as a gift. I love this game dearly, but felt that it lacked Japanese design inspiration. All illustrations are inspired by Japanese fireworks catalogue illustrations from the 1800s. The cards also include the Kanji and Sino-Japanese translations of each number.
